Maybe we should start a "Save the Blazer" foundation?

bisquik65 04-20-2005 08:07 PM

My in-laws had a neighbor with a 69 Blazer 4x4 that was in damn good shape very little rust body was straight just was covered with moss and pine dust. It had been sitting there fnever moved for at least 6 or 7 years from when I first saw i. I went to talk to the very old man that owned it and he said he wasn't ready to sell. Then one day I went to the in-laws and it was gone! he was sitting in the back yard so I asked what he did with it, he said, "Oh I had to get rid of it so I drove it to the wrecking yard and got $450 bucks for it." I was soooooo pist it was easily worth 3K the way it sat and the biggest thing I didn't even know it ran he DROVE it to the grave!!!

Damn throw-away society!"get rid of it",poof,it`s gone.Go finance new.Ahhh.How many times have I heard in antique shops,"can you believe what they want for this?!,we used to have one,we got rid of it.Had I only known."
