any information would be appreciated

I'll bet a set of block-hugger headers would work pretty nice. If you go that route, let me know how they work;I'd like to run headers on my '62 one ton,but I can't afford to try out more than one set,so block huggers are what I'm planning to try. The hard part is likely to be fitting the pipes where you go past the crossmember the torsion bars hook to. I just don't see a clean, easy way past that crossmember. A lot of pipe builders just go below it then back up,but that little detour tends to catch every bad spot in the road. (maybe make the dropped sections out of 2 inch plumbing pipe elbows?)

Here is a link to where I posted some pics of the truck. The last two show the motor mounting position. The front end has been change over to a later year five bolt/disk setup so torsion bars will be no problem.

I have a set of Flowtech "turbo chambers" on mine. The fit fine as far as the frame and everything. The header bolts are a little hard to get at though.

Block huger headers will not work. the front pipe comes down across the tower the the engine mounts to. I had a set of Hooker super comps the the only thing I had to do was trim about 1/4 of an inch off the top of the frame. I think I may still have pics of where I did the triming. If you need them get me you email adress and I will send them to you.

I used Sanderson headers on my bagged 63 swb f/s with 350/350. Fit mint. Used Elbows and ran through the frame(with extra support of frame)to keep the height above the frame, into flowmasters. Or you could run straight back through the new crossmember thats for sale that I ended up purchasing.(which moves the driveshaft hole higher for drops, and had holes for exhaust)Oh yeah, some 62s are X frames so going straight back may not work.
