WTB: Clutch linkage & frame bracket

Good evening.

I'm converting to an 496(bored & stroked 454)/SM465 combo :metal: and am looking for a set of clutch linkage components :help: ..... the frame bracket, rods, Z-bar (have one, but could use a spare), etc.

Let me know what you've got and the $$$. Thanks!!

for your 72?

Yes, It's for my '72 Blazer. I've installed a set of Hedman long hedders on my 496 and the hedders run right in front of the front motor side pivot hole. This is the hole that the linkage for the 67-72 clutch set up utilizes. The linkage for the 73-87 uses the rearward hole on the block as the pivot point. This pivot point is clear of the hedder. All I have to do is drill a couple of holes in the frame for the frame bracket & cut a new hole in the firewall for the clutch rod....and I've got a working clutch for my Blazer without going to a hydraulic set-up.

As a side note, I was impressed...Hedman actually points this clutch linkage swap out in their hedder notes for the hedders that I'm using.
