I had today off and got a good start on the stripping of my truck.
Am hoping to get it ready for the media blasting and powdercoating.
By the way that's my youngest Sierra. She was doing her part by being there. The other two were in the pool.

I hope that box is stable. The photo with your little one standing in front of it sort of scares me.

Randy70C-10 06-24-2005 11:27 PM

Great to see you still around bud!

dwaite72lnghrn 06-25-2005 07:03 AM

Larry it's always fun with a little helper. Sometimes not as quick but always fun.
Is that a new truck in the background? I thought you had a all blue dodge.

teeitup 06-25-2005 08:15 AM

They are fun to have out there aren't they, like dwaite said you don't always get as much done. But they are treasures and ask what everything is!!!!! ;)

HEAVY CHEVY 06-25-2005 09:37 AM

No new truck Dwaite it's the samw one we had at Indy.
It belongs to Liz.Mine is the one in pieces. The little one followed me around while I was dismantling it.

dtlilly 06-25-2005 02:03 PM

Long time, no hear bud! Glad to see your bonding with the little one, and making sure she doesn't go to Dodge like her mother ;)

I appreciate ya'lls concern and agree with it, as accidents can happen in teh blink of an eye. Im just as wee bit overprotective with them for reasons as stated above.

Randy70C-10 06-25-2005 04:48 PM

She was obviously under adult supervision guys, that is unless another 3 year was taking the pics.

HEAVY CHEVY 06-25-2005 06:11 PM

Liz says I act like a 3yr old at times.Especially at pics of these trucks we all have.
I'm still around guys just work alot. Will be on vacation time at the end of July and it's all out tear down. Then media blast and powder coatin.
Then body work stuff. Will keep pics up to date when I do things.

68C15 06-26-2005 07:37 AM

uh... in the first 2 pics. do I see your "cab removal tool" next to your little girl?

Randy70C-10 06-26-2005 08:19 AM

Naaaa, Larry's into "pole vaulting", the truck was the tallest thing in the yard that he could find.

nitor 06-26-2005 08:40 AM

I have a 4 yr old and a 5 yr old. I love it when they help too. You really don't get a lot done, but it sure makes us all feel good when they help. But that bed setting up like that does look scary.

when my daughter was about 4, I was working in the garage cleaning up some parts & she was " helping" . Out of the corner of my eye I saw her heading towards the door of my newly painted car with a big wire brush. Luckily my super-hero reflexes caught her about an inch away from the car. Kids, gotta love 'em.
