It's a truck again!

I had my frame powder coated about a year and a half ago. Finally got the thing back together again on Friday. Then I was cleaning the garage for my son's birthday party on Sunday and I decided to set the body on the frame to make some room. The bed and front clip are rust free , the cab has a little on the kicker panel area, not much though. I know that it has to come off again, but for a couple off hours, I just kept looking at it and thinking, maybe, just maybe, I'll get it done some year. The engine is a 454, trans will be a 700r4, some kind of posi in the rear. What do you think about the "project"?http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26...b/HPIM0198.jpg

Looking good....heck, I wish I was as far as you've gotten

But anything worth doing...is worth doing right the first time...and good things are worth waiting for :metal:

Your project looks like it is coming along very nice! I be worried about the guy sneaking a beer out of the cooler in the last pic tho

He's a really good lifter, so he can have all the beer he wants. Plus he owns the tap system. LOL

67OLDSTYLE72, don't worry about it, we've been through alot together. I hope you make the party though. Thanks.

It will be a fine ride when it's put back together for the last time.

Yukon Jack 06-26-2005 08:44 AM

I can understand completely - hope it comes together as quickly as possible for you.
