Tailpipe for the exhaust, I'm looking for the factory style which splits into two pipes shortly after the muffler. Any Idea who sells these? Everywhere I try its just the (IMO) crappy looking single large pipe.

Maybe grab an exhaust setup for a newer TBI 350 truck? They were single into duals. 305 was a single pipe :)

Oem Mufflers

It looks like you could find that oem look at your local muffler shop, or I'm pretty sure they could weld up a custom setup that your looking for.

Bodydropped if you remember that some of our trucks in the early to mid 80's had mufflers with dual tailpipes that exited behind the left rear tire of the truck. I believe he's looking for that type of setup to reinstall on his truck insted of the typical muffler with one single tailpipe exiting behind the rear tire.

they sell them that r single inlet dual outlet in many brands all u really need is the muffler and let the shop make it from the outlet to the rear of the tire

This would be the type I'm after. Its what was originally on my 87 Burb, and I'm after pretty muchthe same thing for my stepside when I'm done with it. I've seen pickups withthem on it, and from what I can recall without going outside, everything up to the muffler is the same, just that last section is special. Unfortunately, there isnt a whole lot of specialty exhaust shops here anymore who know what theyre doing, last place I described it to and showed what I wanted ordered me stuff for the single exit pipe... needless to say I refused to take it

i recently cut a flowmaster 50 series off a burb which had single 3 inch inlet and dual 2 1/2 outlets and there were side bye side behind the left rear wheel

I bought what you are talking about through JEG's.
It was a muffler and tailpipes - single in, dual out.
If I remember right, it was around $130 and was aluminized, mandrel bent pipes.
It didn't go together as smooth as some of the other kits I've bought, but it did go on.

Edit: it was a Dynomax kit - I think 289-17467 it says here $135.99 but this catalog is a few years old.

Gibson exhaust also has some cool mufflers with dual exits that you could look into and price.
