Nice truck :D
One of those old tour vechicles I'd guess. Lose the dumb Yukon emblems though

Actually, I recognize the barn in the back of that picture. This is the same guy who like ... he turned a suburban into a Tahoe or something and put it on eBay. I saw someone post it 1-2 months ago.

Weird that the auction doesn't mention how it got to be a convertible. Or do I need an education on super rare convertible burbs?

You're right. It should be a << JIMMY XL >>
Interesting. Fremont truck. But where would you get a top for it?

rambler 06-30-2005 09:48 AM

nice.. I like it,,, and only $500 right now..

But in the details, it states that a $1000 deposit is due within.....blah blah blah.... So they want at least a grand for it.

Very clean lookin, but the Yukon emblem just looks stupid, just my opinion. I really hate badging that isn't accurate like that, not real fond of "new" beds on old trucks either (another thing you see too often for my taste).

I had a 81 dodge diplomat I cut the top off of. I just threw a tarp on it with some bungy cords when me and my friends were not cruising. :)

My thought also...
Have a really, really big one made for it I guess.

Kinda cool still...

looks like a cool summer toy, but that's about it. maybe someone could buy it and find a burb shell and make a 2 piece removable hard top(front/back section). but a soft top would be much easier or put a spin on the tarp idea and install the snaps on a silver tarp for parking.

Any good canvas boat top maker should be able to whip one out

Reminds me of an overgrown safari vehicle.....just needs a bunch of tourists with cameras and binoculars hanging around their necks, sitting in the back seats looking for game.
Nice execution, but looks kinda silly......JMHO....
