Power Brake Booster

My brother has a 81 Silverado that he took the Power Brake system off. Is there a way to make it work on my 69?

I used a 78 3/4 ton 4x4's power brake master cylinder on my 70 K5. IIRC a couple of the bolt holes were not correct. I also had to modify the rod that attaches to the pedal - the 78's rod was a little too short to work correctly.
