Put a different hatch on, works great, odd latch on it
 

I put my spare hatch on. So much better than the one that was on it. This one is more solid. Now I have struts that actually work, and it latches shut now. This one also has these extra inner latches which are kind of neat. It lets you 'lock' it from inside. I doubt I will use them, but a good idea anyway.

It's spring loaded, and there was a latch for it on the old top. You pull it out and hook it on the latch. It worked really well, just didn't want to put any extra holes in my top.

That looks like the hood hold downs on Jeeps! (sorry for using that word on this board, hahahahaah)

I was thinking jeep also sure looks better than the bungie cord that was holding my hatch closed..
