96 4wd bearing problem ?
 

My buddy has a problem with his 96 4 x 4 1/2 ton. Has vibration that sounds like a bearing, he has checked and or replaced all wheel bearings. Yesterday when he put it in 4WD the noise went away for a while like maybe the transfer case has a bad bearing in it. After he took it out of 4WD the noise was gone for a few miles then came back. Any ideas ? Thanks
