Power Brake Conversion Question

I've got most of the stuff to convert my '69 to power front brakes. I have a connecting rod question. If I convert to power brakes do I need to replace the pedal assembly or dos the rod from the booster have a place to connect to the original manual brake assembly?

The pedal hardware is the same. The golden push rod is replaced. The power rod is shorter.
