Light Wiring ?'s
I read on here that the way to go for headlights is with H4's and rewire with relays to get direct voltage from the battery to the lights. Wouldn't the same go for the tailights as well. I mean using relays for the newer LED lights, or is that overkill, or can it even be done?
As far as the H4's go, what do you have to buy? Does someone sell a kit that includes everything you need, or would I go to the parts store and buy the bulbs? Do they have H4's that fit into the buckets like the originals in our trucks? Trying to find out as much as I can before changing mine out. thanks |
Ebay has a lot of sellers that sell the kits between $30 -$40 including shipping. I'm thinking about trying a set myself. As far as LED taillights, I just used an electronic flasher.

LEDs take very small amounts of power to use.
A relay is used to provide large amounts of electricity while using small amounts to trigger it. Basicly, there would be absolutly no advantage to doing it. |
