FS: 355/350 12 bolt rear Combo. N. Texas

This motor was in the 83 Chev 1/2 ton truck when we bought it. Motor is freshly rebuilt. Has been run long enough to break in cam. Motor is much more than we need. 350 bored .30 10.5.1 TRW pistons, ported and polished heads port matched to the Edelbrock Torquer intake. Holley 750 carb. Holley hi-perf mech. fuel pump. I think it has a 268 or maybe a bit bigger 280 cam.
350TH also fresh rebuild with shift kit and 2500 stall.
We would rather sell it to someone that can use it, than rebuild it milder. The truck was being built to take to the track.
I will not remove the motor prior to sell so that buyer can hear it run. Upon sell, I will pull the motor and tranny.
Does not include distributor, fan, motor mounts, PS pump, alternator or headers.
12 bolt rear came from 80's Chevy truck. I don't have any info on the rear as far as gears. Does not have springs.
$1300 obo for all of it. Local only. Will deliver within 50 miles for fuel reimbursement.

thanks matt

fade94 08-05-2005 04:09 PM

 I'm sorry if I'm confused by your question. What's a "dizzy"??

86 GMG 08-05-2005 04:21 PM

distributer

fade94 08-05-2005 04:26 PM

Stock HEI I had laying around. I'm glad you reminded me. I also let you have a new Accell Dual point dist and coil. They were in the front seat when we got the truck. I didn't hook it up because I suck at setting up points and had the HEI in my cabinet anyway.
This motor has literally only been ran a total of 30 minutes. I did pull it to put different oil pump shaft on it. It had the stock nylon collar and I replaced it with a steel shaft and pinned collar. I am working tomorrow but off Sunday. Since you are in Tulsa, this will probably be a weekend trip for you. Let me know when / if you want to come down.

86 GMG 08-05-2005 05:16 PM

that was the answer i was looking for i am going to see if i can pull some money together
and maybe be able to tell you something first of the week if it pans out for me i will want to come down make the deal and yank it out and bring it home if at all possible this will save me on fuel since its so darn high and you can consider it free labor what do you think oh and i will bring you cash

fade94 08-05-2005 05:57 PM

Sounds good. Won't take long to pull. The truck is in the shop. Concrete floor, air tools and an engine hoist..

fade94 08-05-2005 06:00 PM

I sent you a PM with my phone number

fade94 08-07-2005 09:50 AM
