Thats the exact same shift kit I have..

I have that shifter in my truck as well. And no it is not hard to shift with a bench seat in the truck

piecesparts 08-04-2005 06:58 PM

You can order the boot at Summit Racing, they have them in stock. I have that same shifter in three trucks, 91 Siverado, 84 GMC Sierra Classic, and an 86 Silverado. They work great and give you a positive way to shift and NOT catch the wrong gear.

matthufham 08-04-2005 07:15 PM

i love mine, easy shifting with or without the bench.

Beats the heck out of having the 'Ole Lady' lay under the truck and shift for you.

shifter

like those shifter's.want one in mine but can't figure out how with 4 wheel drive :(

piecesparts 08-05-2005 09:53 PM

If you have an auto Build it---It will fit. The only difference is the 4 wheel stuff on the back of the tranny. The shifter will mount just about where ever you want it.

that's a shifter, a shift kit is a kit that contains parts to modify the internals of the trans to alter shift quality and timing.

I had a mega shifter in a '70 Monet Carlo I use to have and loved it. Man, piecesparts, you really have your "Ole Lady trained". We have been married for over 40 years and I still can not get my wife to do these little things for me.
