why do you want a rollbar?

for protection and for more off road lights

Maybe if you did a rollbar that goes along the cab only and not down with a 2nd bar in the bed. You still would have to move the box back.

then forget about a bed mounted "roll bar", as every one commercially available has been made out of pipe very similar to exhaust tubing. even if it was made of something worth its weight in scrap, your bed bolts would shear off before it would offer you any real protection. if you're to the point where you need the protection, its time to bite the bullet and build (or have built) a good quality interior roll cage or bar.

I would probably just cut the corners off the box to clear the downtubes......but I do weld quite a bit.
If you're not into welding then the box may have to go.
I saw a roll bar made of PVC on TV recently........wow!
If you take those downtubes through the bed floor and tie them to the frame you will have a stronger setup and watch out for the "muffler pipe" setups Jerermy refers too....too common and waay too weak.

yea i know the ones for sale are super cheap. but im getting our local off road shop to build a stronger one for me, but i want it looking just like the normal roll bars. and i would kill to get a full cage inside. id also love to win the lottery.lol thanx all
