brake conversion problem

Ok, I finally got around to doing my brake conversion. Well I have a problem imagine that. LOL my brake lines are different size the old fitting will not fit in the new rubber line what the heck do I need to do?? Oh ya I have the McGaughy's disk brake conversion kit. I plan on robbing the master cylinder and valve off a 85 do I just need to get the lines and all???

i'd suggest calling the people you bought the kit from and asking them the size of both the brake lines and master cylinder that they reccomend for the aplicationas well as the residual valve and proportioning valve that should be used

I had to buy Early Classic special conversion hoses when I did my truck. Cost....60 bucks per pair...ouch.

A good parts store will have adapters. I've done that before, years ago, but on the latest truck, I remembered how much hell I paid finding a store with the adapters that I jusy fessed up the 60 bucks. It was easier.
