Could you please post any pics of your interior that you have. Mostly Custom. I am looking for ideas. I'm thinking about wrapping my dash pad in black tweed and making a seat cover out of it too. thanks:bowtie:

Here's my wreck, not much but I did change the steering wheel, added a tach....and recently, which is not in the pic, is the newly painted door panels, glovebox, and re-wrapped dash pad.

timamin 06-29-2002 08:44 PM

guys that run their tach on the steering wheel,i had my sunpro there with the chrome trim on it and i had a nasty glare on the windshield at night,so i moved it,do you all have the same?

S-C:bowtie:

Chevy Punk 06-30-2002 07:24 PM

What part of the dash are the numbers on? Are they on the lense?

Super Chevy 06-30-2002 07:26 PM

yes-Chevy punk they are on the lense,my background in the dash is chevy orange instaid of black, the white looks good over it

Longhorn Man 06-30-2002 07:42 PM

My numbers are white, but I didn't do anything to them.
I did used to get the greenish glow when they were lit, but I painted everything white inside. I dunno if that got rid of the greenish hue, or if I just got lucky or something.I get the same nasty glare from my tach...real PITA sometimes.

I did all this myself

RipMeyer 06-30-2002 09:16 PM

Who was the guy that had all the leather interior. I mean everything was leather. It looked like he did a good job.

timamin 06-30-2002 09:37 PM

hey where do you guys get those nice gauge faces? or are those just whole new guages? I would like something like that but the cool guages I have seen are usually for newer trucks =/

Its all just spray paint man.
Mine, I removed the guages and sprayed them white...I also have cheap Auto-Zone acc guages mounted in the inst panel though.
The other one...disasemble the inst. panel and paint the black piece.
