Gen. 2 bridge kit on a 64?

Hey guys,

I got to looking at prices for what it would cost to make a notch and what it would cost to just buy one. After considering the fact that either way I go I have to pay for the bag plates and everything I came to the conclusion that it would be less work to just buy the whole set-up and spend the little extra it was. I was looking at getting Jason's Gen 2 bridge kit for my 64, only thing I see as possibly being a problem is that where the notch is on the frame it is bent. No big deal I know, but I curious sinse the gen 2 upper bag plates are basically set where they are and you cant move them in at all will they be too close to the frame after I angle the notch? I hope that makes sense lol... Here is a pic of the notch.

I know I can make it fit I am just worried about the bags being too close to the frame.

Any one know anyone or has anyone installed this kit them selves?

Thanks
Keith

Well here are some pix of what I have now.

I have the frame on saw horses and if work would quit calling me having me run all over the state I would be able to finish sandblasting the frame. As for the body, I have yet to even look at it so it is still an ugly POS, but After I get the frame stripped, notched, 4 link'd , sectioned front cross member, power dic brakes and steering I will be able to drop in my 406 sbc and 700r4. After all that is accomplished I will then get to the body.

Here are some pix....
