axle?

how do u install lugnut studs on the axles?

Pull the axle shaft and take it to a machine shop, they need to be pressed in. Unless you have your own shop press.

You do have to remove the axles but You can install them yourself. There are splines on the stud that you line up with the splines in the holes in the axle. Just use a big hammer and drive em in! I have done them on a couple of different vehicles and there was never a problem.

Is it possible to have a machine shop drill out the holes for larger studs? My '67 has little tiny 5/16" lugs and I'm afraid when I put my new billet rollers on there that there's not going to be enough lug to secure the lugnuts on there safely. Plus 5/16" is pretty wimpy for 20" wheels.

yes.
