floor shifters
 
i want to put a floor shifer in my 69 it has a th400 and it has a low tranny hump...i want to know what type of shifter would be good....i would prefer not to bend down to shift would like to just sit back and be able to rest my wrist on the shifter (to look cool of course):cool: ..should i get a high hump to expand up my options...if anyone has a floor shifer with high or low hump post some pics please.. any ideas would be really helpful...thanks....oh yah cheaper the better

B&M sells a floor shifter that looks like a straight drive shifter. It sits up high enough that you do not have to bend down. It features a reverse lockout also.

yea, i just bought the light truck megashifter from b&m, have yet to install it though, looks VERY cool i think, if i'm not mistaken slammed 67 has got one for sale, might ask him about it

I have the B&M Megashifter in my truck hooked up to my 350 tranny with a shift kit and love it. It looks cool and is alot of fun banging thru the gears and barking tires. You do have to get used to it because reverse feels a little weird.

lokar, i have tried all the others and lokar is the best to me. im not a racer guy so i dont need a ratchet shift. lokar has a shifter that looks just like a standard shifter.... i wont use any thing else.
