What's a 350 engine w/accessories weigh?

I'm looking to get an engine stand for my L-88 350 that I'm getting in a few weeks. It has the cast heads and all the accesories will still be on it (intake, carb, starter, alt,pwr steering pump, etc). I don't want to buy an expensive one but would like to make sure it will hold the weight alright.

I see the light duty ones will hold 750 lbs - is that enough?

I would guesstimate a full dressed small block would weight as much as my mother inlaw, which comes to around 500 lbs.

the cheapest ones will hold it fine (like mvp), but the more expensive ones are normally taller and have a better stance for pushing them around the shop.

a cheap one is fine.

I've got a 1250lb cheapie and would NOT go any lighter. For the 10 bucks more than the 750lb it was well worth it

What's an L-88 350? I know about the L-88 427 big block. Just curious. SC

My mistake on the number. I meant that it is an L-82.
