That's a heartbreaker. Too bad that the Tilt option makes it so easy to steal. Every tilt column should have a "Steadfast" housing cover. Looks funky, but it works.

I used to work at a dealership repairing theft columns. Kept me very busy.
I'll be installing a Steadfast and a Kill switch before sinking any more dollar$ into my ride.
Again, Sorry for your loss.

Yea, at lest with an alarm it gives you enough time to do something.

If I wanted to steal somones truck those parts would have little effect at all. It might detour some one who doesnt know what thier doing so I guess if you used the kit in the link and added an alarm it would buy you enough time to grab the gun. :Own:

Put a cut-off switch on the wire leading to the dizzy....keep it well hidden.

Damn that sux.

I'll keep an eye out for it in the Visalia-Bakersfield area. I drive a semi so I'm on highway 99 a lot. If I see anything I'll call the cops, since it wouldn't be very effective to try chasing em down in a truck.

I'm on highway 99 in the central valley every day, I will keep an eye out aswell. That truck is sweet, so it should stick out..but honestly, it's probably in someone's garage getting taken apart...

Did this happen in California? I have a daughter and son-in-law who lives in S-California and they told me cars and trucks are stolen there all the time. I was not use to hearing all the little tripp sounds when we went to a store. Seemed like a lot of people there have an alarm on their vehicle. Sorry to hear about your loss. Insurance? Hope so. good luck. Hope you fine the Bas*&%& that stole that fine looking truck!!!
