bummer

Bummer, but close call. If the deer had hit your front grille or fender it would have been much worse. Hopefully you can slide bed back and add new cab corner and blend in the paint. Looks like a covered over cab corner from before.

Sweet truck. How did you manage to get damage to your cab corner from hitting a deer?

NIce Rig, cool shade of blue.Man hitting a deer twenty minutes after purchasing thats gotta be some kinda record.. lol..............

76bonanza 09-18-2005 03:57 PM

the deer was down already went under left front wheel at about 55 mph. About another hour after that I stopped and thru up, The whole ordeal got the best of me. It knocked it out of alignment and made the oil pan leak or maybe it leaked before but I will blame the deer. And yes now that it is over I am very happy it was not standing.

But anyway this is my new daily driver other than the oil leak and the damage the windshield leaks like crazy and it has no choke but other than that I love it.

Arkansas deer must be taller than Missouri deer.

I never hit one that short before.............. Maybe it was part weanie-dog.......... (Sorry, I couldn't resist).

Setiously, that really sucks. On such a cool truck, too. Heart-felt condolences.

I probably couldn't have waited an hour to throw up.

That color is sweet on there.

I just drove one home from PA and hitting a deer or anything else kept running through my head the entire time.
