Just think of all the time spent on that wood floor! :bowtie:
|
......
LOL....hey do you guys think that the other bed side has a 67-72 fender??? :D :bowtie: :p
|
I noticed that last night. It's mommy was a 68 Its Daddy was a 66!
What looks worse on these trucks is when someone puts a 60-66 fleetside box on one of our trucks. |
FYI: the bed itself was the same from 55-72 or maybe later. The fenders were the only difference (and the mounting holes). It could easily be "converted" back. The fenders on that truck are the same for 55-66. The wood bed however is very rare! Usually it's just one piece of plywood!:D

Second generation '55 all the way to '87 will work, but the fenders doo need chainged out.
I'l bet he doesn't even know it is incorrect. He thinks it might have a leather seat! http://ebay0.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_...d3b2/i-1_B.JPG |
Hey! Thats the bed I need for my 56!
BTW, I think it looks good with the older bed.. hmmmmmmm... |
Man I have to bid on this one, I've been looking for quite some time for a truck with no rut.
QUOTE; "It does not seem to sag at all in the body. Body looks straight and frame is sturdy with no rut just some rust. " |
I think it looks cool with the old bed. If that's the way they originally came, everyone would think they look strange with the other bed.
|
As far as mis matched beds on these things go, there is one here in town with a 73 - 87 step side on it, all painted up, and looks pretty darned nice.
|
I'm gona try to go look at it this weekend ;)
