If your talking about the hold down brackets for the rear seat, they are pretty rare and espensive when you find them. Be patient, and keep a look out on ebay also. Sorry, I sold my extra set awhile back, but heres to the top for ya.
|
Yeah, expect to shell out a few pennies when if you find them, I think the suburban ones will also work.
|
are they rare because people throw them away when they yank the back seat? Heh, It looks like I used to have them, but the P.O. lost them when he re did the interior :(
|
yes, and some didn't have a back seat to start with.
|
well shoot, it looks like I will pad my post count till somebody offers up a set :d

am I  for thinking spending more than $20-30 is too much to spend???
|
I think I found a set. I am not to good with posting links, see if this works, ebay link
if that does not work they are item # 4581475012. |
I paid $40 for a set from PICKMUP about 3 years ago. They were freshly sand blasted and ready for paint. I've seen them go as high as $80 for a pair. There was someone (I think TONYP if he is still on the board) making sets out of milled aluminum blocks. The didn't look original but they were probably more solid than the stock pieces. I think he was charging around $35. Also, talk to LUV. I think he mentioned he might have a spare set.

2 spare sets actually, mine have been sandblasted twice and are now at the powdercoater's, when they get back they will be available, but the price may not be what you are willing to pay, reason I say that is I really don't need to sell them, but I can, I LUV having extra's incase you loose something, been there, done that, btw $77.70 shipped USA. |
Suburban and blazer rear seat clamps $60 shipped in US.

Thanks for the replies guys, but anything more than $30 is too rich for my blood for used sheetmetal. My passengers can bring an extra roll of butt grip tape, and hope the seatbelts keep em in :D

Totally understand your position, I'm just a stickler for OE parts, I have bought almost $800 worth in the last 2 months, ouchy for my banky  |

OK, let me get this straight, you want the brackets that holds down the rear seat, and the rear seat helps hold all the backseat seatbelts brackets..... How does a wrongfull death lawsuit weights against 80 bucks worth of "old used sheetmetal" nowdays? I don't know, but call me crazy................... or drunk...................... :barn: :tim: :alky: :alc: :ito: Just my . 02 cents................................. |
Since you only wanna spend $30 or less, what about conduit clamps ;)
|
those I can pocket from the hardware store. I need the clamps for the front of the back seat. If I hit somebody from the front, or get hit from the side, its all good, if I get rear ended, thats another story. Besides, I dont think the beagle knows how to hire a lawyer anyways. I am not that stupid to have anyone ride in a seat that is not properly attached.
[edit] anything over $5 each is TOO MUCH for an old stamped piece of steel. If I had to have concours correct OEM/NOS that would be another story. You could sell me a battery clamp, as long as it properly and safely did the job, didnt look okie, and got the job done, I would be happy |
Weld some tabs onto the legs of your rear seat. If you don't care if it is OEM, it should work fine and you won't loose the clamps when you take the seat out!

Re: WTB front side of rear seat brackets for blazer
I am not on the ball here. I have been presented with 2 ideas so far that normally I would have come up with had I needed a fix now. Fixin it hasnt been an issue, so I have been brain dead in the creativity department.....

Re: WTB front side of rear seat brackets for blazer
Tony just admitted he's brain dead?
Wowsers... known him for three years and this is a first :) Just weld the tabs on, Tony. |
Re: WTB front side of rear seat brackets for blazer
