'98 straight axle conversion

Any interest in a step by step detailed installation of a front axle conversion? I am going to make the swap, and will take pics and explain step by step, and post in a thread if it would be valuable info for anyone wanting to do the swap. I also have the complete ifs lift with control arms, disks, 3.73 differential, hubs and axle shafts still in one piece. How much is this worth? Should I seperate or sell as one unit? I also have the torsion bar relocating mounts that go with the lift, just need to know if I should include the control arms and brakes, spindles and hubs. I almost forgot the xfer case with les than 10k is also coming out, how much could I sell it for? Anybody want to make a 2wd a 4wd. This would be the whole kit for a conversion plus the lift kit.

im planning on putting my drive train into mid 90's 2 door yukon or tahoe in the next year or so. it would be nice to see what to expect and help prepare for a few problems early. are you going to post it here or email it to those who are interested? stan79chevy@yahoo.com

thanks

I will post it here, just checking interest to see if it was worth it. If it helps one person, I assume it is well worth it. Just gotta find out how much my parts are worth so I can sell them to buy some new parts. Glad to see someone is interested thanks for your response. What about the parts? I was thinking about $800 is that high or low?

You'll have to register to see the pics, but here is a nice how to on an 88+ 2wd frame :)

800 sounds like alot to me

i allready have the whole drivetrain i want. im thinking i just need some front lift springs, and the steering stuff. The steering seems like it would be the complicated part of things. what axles are you going to use. transfer case and transmission lengths may be an issue as well.

I would love to see some pics, maybe someone can post them. It wont let me view them on a free membership and I hate to pay the membership to see them when this is my home :)
