good price ?

i have recently purched a 5.3 engine/trans complete combo, wiring, pcm, exhaust mani. to cats, all belt driven acc., and it runs and shifts smoothly with no DTC,s. the thing is it has 150000 mi on it. is 730$ a good buy?
thanks for all the responces. and Josh i love your site, keep up the good work we ALL appreciate it.

i personally wouldn't go thru the effort of doing an install of a high milage combo like that without a major rebuild //price seems high to me for core value

Why is the guy selling it. Is he putting another newer engine in his truck? By the time and money it will cost you to rebuild the engine I would not think it would be worth the asking price. I would not put it in my truck unless the engine and trans had a complete rebuild job. IMO

I happen to have a bare longblock 5,3 from a 2002 SSR with only 2000 miles on it. 1300 obo and it's yours.

the good part about it you wouldnt have to go searching for all the little things, that seems to be wirth something, again that is allot of miles
