NOS 68 Chevy, or 68-72 GMC L/F Fender

I just aquired an NOS 68 Chevy, 68-72 GMC Left front fender. I put it up on ebay to try to sell. Here is the link:

Some surface rust and a couple of dings, but if you do not like the reproductions and NOS is what you want... Here is your chance... (Starting bid is $150.00) WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I'd be on it, but $108 to ship is steep. Looks good though. I got that clutch rod nut, then I found an extra that I had in a bolt box. It always happens that way, just buy a new one and the old one will turn up!!

Ya, shipping these fenders are not cheap. They are right up to the oversize limit. It cost $78.00 ship them less than 100 miles!! The fuel surcharge on a shipment to you is about $23.00 alone. What is a guy to do?? It would have to be shipped to most people... :whine: :whine: WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

FYI...Here's a money saving suggestion...Try Fedex, or better yet, DHL for all bigger items, you should save nearly HALF of what UPS charges. That fender should cost around $40-$50 to ship if you ship with the others. I rarely use UPS anymore because they are just too darn expensive for larger items  ...Again, just a suggestion

P.S. Too bad it wasn't a Passenger fender, I want one.

Those were FedEx rates that I was quoting. I have had DHL loose shipments, and damage a lot of my stuff, so I won't use them. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I ship the larger items using Greyhound express, runs about 50-60.00 to ship a fender and usually arrives in good condition, have not had one damaged yet, just lost for two weeks but they found it. I wrap them in cardboard and they put them on a bus to their destination. They have to be picked up at the bus station.

Thank you extd56, I have received stuff via Greyhound also. I just don't have time to take all of the large itoms that I ship down to the bus station. The shipping company has to stop by my store. WES
