windshield gaskets difference

I was looking on chevy duty's website and they list a standard gaskets that fits all 67-72 then the list 1 deluxe that fits 67-70 and 1 for 71-72
what is the difference?

The deluxe has the stainless trim that goes in between the gasket. If you have that trim, then you need the deluxe, unless you don't want to put the trim back on, then use the standard gasket. Same goes for the back window as well......

i realize this. I am just questioning the difference between the 2 different deluxe one? The cabs should be the same. Is the trim different?

It is the depth of the chanel that the molding sits in. The 67-70 is deeper than the 71-72. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

so it has nothing to do with the cab itself? Which of the 2 is better in your opinion?

I personaly think that the 71-72 is easier to install and lays down better. If you order molding and trim, you definetly need to order for the same year group. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I think Wes may be right, I've done my 68 trim/rubber/glass a few times and it is a PITA and still doesn't look like it sits just quite right,
