Heater Control Overhaul

I rebuilt it using the kit from Old Air Products. A little overpriced IMO, but the results are great.

Thanks..I repainted the inside which is normally painted from the factory. The chrome on the lip is a little pitted, but it was the best of the two old busted up controls I had laying around. The rest of what you see is just dust. I've got it installed in the truck, and it looks fine...

thirty bucks locally... I guess that's not too bad when you compare it to the price of a new or remanufactured control..

Are the levers metal or plastic?

They're metal and guaranteed to never break, unlike the originals.

This was one of the first jobs I did when I bought my truck as all the levers were broken and cables snapped, was a great investment of time to have working heating/defroster.

I'm trying to find metal levers for my Original AC/Heater. I can't find anywhere that has AC/Heater levers that are metal. If anyone knows of any let me know.
