Dual tank help

I have a '75 i put dual tanks on and need help wiring them up. I've got a 81-87 switch as follows pink, pink/black,green,limegreen wires and an 87 tank selector on the frame from a throttle body truck with pink/black,pink/white,pink,brown and grey wires. I'm not using the electric fuel pumps so does anyone know what i've got going on here and how to hook'em up?

Re: Dual tank help

I'll take a shot at it.

On the fuel tank selector valve:
Pink/Black = Right Tank Sending Unit.
Pink/White = Left Tank Sending Unit.
Pink = Tank Sending Unit wired to the bulkhead connector going to the Fuel Gauge.
Grey = Right Selector Switch (Lime Green Wire)
Brown = Left Selector Switch (Dark Green Wire)

On the fuel tank selector switch:
Pink = Ignition Power wired to Fuse Box
Pink/Black = Ground wired to Bus Bar

* You may have to check the (Pink/Black, Grey-Lime Green) and the (Pink/White, Brown-Dark Green) configurations to make sure the Selector switch in the 'Right' position switches the valve/sending unit to the 'Right' tank and in the 'Left' position switches the valve/sending unit to the 'Left' tank.

Good luck.

Re: Dual tank help

Can anyone confirm these wire colors? My truck has the green colored wires clipped about half down the frame and there's also NO plug to plug in the valve. I've picked up a 6 port valve (I have an '85) and plug. It's currently running on one tank without a selector valve or cross over lines.

Also, the vapor canister has been removed and there is no return line from the carb. (aftermarket holley installed). Should I just block of the return line and vent lines? The gas caps are vented so they'll be a vent on the tanks.
