Rear Heater

I was talking to one member and they commented that I would probably need a heater in the back for winter. Anyone here drive their Blazer in the winter and have some good ideas on this? By winter I mean serious Canada cold although it is beautiful here today.

Best type of heater to use,
location of the heater,
Where is the best place to tap off of for the heater lines,
Insulating the lines,
or just anything that would be helpful.
And of course pics are always the best.

Pickmup had a rear heater system he sold last year. It looked interesting, but I didn't want to cut holes in the floor to feed the hoses from the engine.

I feel your pain. I have the same problem. I haven't figured out how to plumb it yet.
If you don't have AC, put an AC motor on your heater. It puts out alot more air, and actually helps quite a bit.

I drove mine through a couple Edmonton winters. If your door and windshield seals are good and your heater core isn't obstructed, you'll be toasty for all but the coldest days. When it got colder I did have to cover the radiator with a piece of cardboard with a few holes punched in it and then I was fine.

Mine warms up pretty well. For the last week or so it's been getting down in the low teens and low 30's (farenheit) for highs with pretty much no sun (pesky inversions). Not like the heater is making me roll the windows down or anything, but not seeing my breath either.
