67 upholstery

I need some ideas or info. I have a friend that has a 67. And he wants me to redue his truck interia. The seat taken care of he got one out of a late model and bought the carpet. But hes wants me to do a matching leather or vinyl headliner in the 67. Which should not be to bad in a 67. Just glue it to the metal roof and back. But hes also wanting me to do the dash also he has a custom home built console he wants me to cover. He said like glue the material to the dash/console or They make a spray paint that after you spray it on. It looks like its covered in a leather or vinyl. I have seen something like a vinyl spray before, but never used it. Have any of you ? Did it look good ? I have seen some later model trucks and do look like the dash might have been painted. Any ideas,or types of products you have used.

Wrinkle paint? It was used alot in British cars.It looks like the vinyl applique I`ve seen in 60s American cars.I think there is a simulated leather spray.Look in a JC Whitney catalog or Hemmings Motor News under "Supplies & Services".I`ve seen HMN in Borders' magazine section.
