Just a guess but when they sourced the 82-87's they were probably more available, but the older ones may have been a "special" order from the supplier?
We make wood/pellet/gas stoves and I was in charge of replacement parts for the last few years. When we stop producing an appliance and stop buying 1000's at a time and only buy in lots of 25-50 the prices go up substantially. |
