By the way checked out your site on your shortbed, looks like a really slick truck. I sure think that original color scheme would look nice over the hugger orange though. Don't see to many fixed up that way. Just my opinion it will be awesome any way you do it. Love that wood wheel.

I kinda feel sorry for the guy. If he only knew what a easy fix that is.
Just install some new bushings for the shifter rods and adjust. Probably needs a carb adjustment and a tune-up etc. The truck was a good deal for what he paid.

that truck is in pretty good shape for $600
Somebody needs to pick that up --- Geez down here in Houston they're getting $1000 - $1500 just for a half way decent cab..

Poor guy.He buys a 30+ year old truck and it has a bad battery and the shift linkage already wore out?He shoulda checked Consumer Reports.I think they did a 40year follow up on column shift linkage.He should look at the poke-outs on the battery.It probably is only 5 or 10 years old and is eligable for a pro-rated warranty rebate.There`s prolly another 20years left on it.What`s the problem anyway?Doesn`t Washington have hills to pop-start it on?

Looks a whole heck of a lot better than the K-20 I retrieved from abandonment for 1800!!!!
