Re: How much is this Suburban worth?

everything looks to be in awesome condition, the only problem factor is overall # of miles... I got my 91 with 454 for $2600 in April 05 and the body is rust free and looks good and runs pretty good. Mine does have 180K miles but I am sure I could get $3000 easy for mine...
I would start it at $4000 and let people talk you down, anything over $3000 would be a good offer to take or if you're just trying to sell it fast go for $2500 firm.

Unfortunately,I`m in the same boat with my`90 Blazer.I`m the original owner and it`s in great shape with 170,000 mi.The clearcoat went bad on the top decks, but no rust. These are in the "in between" years from used car/classic car status. To the right buyer or in the right area,it is a classic. That`s how I see them.Building methods and looks are definately from another era.The only other problem is there are so many around. And,although in various conditions, they can be had for cheap.I`d look around on Ebay and classified to gauge the value.Screwball`s advice sounds right on.If you want to try to squeezeall you can out of it,list it in Hemmings Motor News and talk-up the well-cared-for aspect.Someone from a rust-zone state could fly-in and gladly give you $4,500 or more.GTW,I like it and wouldn`t mind having it.I`m thinking about parting my`91 Bohemoth to build-up my Blazer and use the 6.2/4L80E/NP241 in one of my`72 K/20s.Then sell-off the body(very little rust for Mid-Atlantic).Good Luck

Here is my 2 cents.. I've ben looking for the right Burb for about a year now. I did find one in North dakota in September but at this point it has no title and the guy that seized it is trying to get atitle for me so I can bring to Canada. Its the Black 4X4 in the pic. Its needs a trans and the guy says the motor is weak and he wants 700.00US which I am willing to pay for this one in its present condition. I figure I can have it roadworthy, including the initial cost and towing it 400 miles home) for around 3000.00CDN ..

The page has expired on EBay and I would have bought this one but missed it caus esomething came up and I had to go out that night. It was a 90 4x2 like your with 138,00 miles in your area (Texas) and it sold for 1800.00 this past August...

Also on Ebay and one I've been haggling with the guy for a year now and we cant make a deal.. In November of 2004 when I first saw this Black 88 Burb the bid got to 2400. and the reserve wasn't met. I got of the guy last spring and he told me his resewrve had been 4000.. I tried to buy it off him for 3500 at the time and he wouldnt go below 3800.. So we didnt make a deal. He just put it on Ebay in October (Auction # 4584799407, I'd post a link to the page but dont know how) and had it at 3000.00 ( go figger) with no reserve and he dint get a bid.. After the auction I got hold of him and tiold him I'd take it for that if he'd fix the cruise ( so I could use it on the 2100 mile drive home) and he wouldn't.. So I'm still looking and I dont know if he still has the Burb or not. .
