Re: My inspiration!
I thought that might be the same truck . The guy was a bodyshop owner or something right ? It had larger tires and maybe different wheels . It sat higher also . In the article it didnt look as good as it does now . Frank

Here's a couple of pics of Auto-B Dan's 77 that was covered in the June 2003 issue of Truckin'. The article sez that it's sporting 275/40/20 up front and 285/50/20 out back. I agree, it looks cleaner in the 'sportruck.com' picture.

Sorta like the one I've posted before that I saw parked outside one of the Goodguy's show. (I spent almost as much time checking it out as I did the rods inside the gates. ) You wouldn't happen to have the specs on the wheels (tire sizes)? |

I have seen this truck up close and it is a Beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Infact one of the guys, who worked at Hills has relocated back in our town and opened After Flash Custom Trucks, he (Ron Knowles) is working with me on my 62. here is Ron working on Red Rocker in its beginning stage. He is an awesome craftsman and quite the wizard when it comes to these trucks. The S10 he just did for Sema this year (will be in Mini Truckin this year) is another awesome product. |
