Putting disc brakes on a 70>

I may be getting a 70 K-10 that has the open knuckle drum brake front axle, what is involved in putting disc on it.

depends on what is available in your area. It is easier to swap the whole axle but finding the same ratio might be a problem. I know the steering knuckle is different (caliper bracket), the brake lines and the rotor and hub. I am not sure on the spindle, wheel bearings, hubs and outer axle stubb.
A little bit of help but probably not enough. I have just swapped from the steering knuckle out complete or the whole axle.

I was hoping to find the parts from a donor axle, the one I have has 3.73 gears and may be hard to find a good used one around here.
If I have to change the knuckles too I may just hold out for another axle.

Rob, I still have the 3:73 Blazer axle here. Needs a complete rebuild though. I have it all torn apart but you are welcome to look at it and let me know if you want to tackle it. It is missing the lockouts. Did not have them when I got it.
