68 3/4 2wd w/leaf springs.rear adjuster kit

i have a 1968 3/4 2wd truck with rear leaf springs has 12 " drums
is this a rare or strange set up..drum slides off leaving hubs/axle in rear end
trucks with coil rear springs have 11" drums
adjuster kits are not the same
