Aftermarket stepside fenders

I picked up a stepside bed for my 67 that came off a 73-87. The box part is in good shape, but the fenders have some dents. I am trying to find a good source to buy new fenders. LMC has them for $199 each. Does anyone know of a cheaper source?

I have to be honest with you, I am against that whole "cheaper" mindset. I use to think that way until things did not fit at the bodyshop and I spent more on body prep than the difference for the better quality panels.

If I could offer a suggestion, I got my CounterParts fenders from Brothers Trucks. The fit and quality is perfect. I highly recommend them!

I got mine from MotherTruckers (a site vendor) and they are perfect. I think they are Counterpart also.

Also remember the beds are not exactly the same. If you want the 67-72 fenders to look right on the 73-87 bed, you'll need to do some mods.

Check this out from the FAQ area.

I'm curious about that as well..... that's what I've seen the 67-72 fenders go for, is the $199 for 73-87 fenders?

I am quoting the price for 73-87 fenders. The bed I have now is off an 80 and the fenders are in pretty bad shape. Dented, not rust through. One fender is usable, but the other has a good crease in it and I was thinking of buying a new fender to replace it. I was looking for info on fenders that were less than $199 each. Given enough time, I can make both originals work, but it would take alot of labor.
