There are alot on ebay. The wheel arches are flatter on the rear than our old trucks. So when you look at it from the side the front arch is more curved.

The bed you are referring to is a 88-98 Silverado stepside bed. I don't know what all it takes to install one, but I think it is fairly simple. Some people dont like them because the wheel arches are different. You can use any bed you want and be creative. I've seen one truck with a 88-98 fleetside bed cut down to a stepside width with 67-72 stepside fenders grafted on it, that baby looked sweet.

I PREFER stock as well, but have seen some nice ones. You see more of these trucks in the rust belt areas. A lot of the 88-98 stepside beds were fiberglass, so no rust. Take your rusty crusy NY or Ohio or whatever bed off and viola, rust free bed. The stepside bodylines match the original on the cab fairly well, but like it has been said, the wheel well thing looks a little off.

I started to do this to my 69, here's a picture with the bed
on the truck. I checked around before mounting and
found that the factory holes don't line up. Alternatives are
to either drill holes in bed or do as I did and get some
brackets made. I went to local welding shop and they did
it for about $100.00. Since that time I went back to stock
bed. Still working on it. db
