Best vinyl dye/paint remover???

Guys I need to get some advice on what you have used to remove the rattle can vinyl dye/paint for sun visors so I can re-do them in the color I want. It is flaking and stuff and I dont want to just spray over them......that would not look good and be pretty lame IMO. Thanks

I have a sandblast booth with a mild sand in it. I blast mine lightly. Just enough to remove the shine.

There is a product called "Oops". It can be purchased in walmart and it is offered in spray can or just a can of liquid. It is for removing crayon, ink, etc...and paint from walls, doors, etc...
It works well, but you have to rub it for a little longer than stripper. More gentle, so you can take off just what you want without burning anything.

Be sure to clean your surface thouroughly before re-dying. I like Gojo or Goop hand cleaner and a tooth brush. After you work it into the texture of your surface let it melt away old hand oils and dirt. Then wash with soap and water. Then use the surface prep that is sold by the dye people.
