Wiper Motor
 

DOE'S ANYBODY KNOW IF A WIPER MOTOR, ELEC. AFTER MARKET FOR A 1951 CHEVY 1/2 TON, WOULD FIT A 1954 CHEVY 1/2 TON. I HAVE ALOT OF NEW STUFF I BOUGHT FOR MY 51, AND BOUGHT A 54 AND DECEIDED TO BUILD IT INSTEAD OF THE 51. I KNOW THE DR. HANDLES ARE DIFF. AND THE WINDSHEILD, ARE THE DRS.,FRT, FENDERS AND HOOD INTER CHANGEABLE. P.S. IT IS MOUNTED ON A 1980 1/2 TON SURBAN CHASSIS,SHORTENED. W/ 350/TURBO 350 TRANS. Hi, I think the w/s wiper motors are the same. I have seen a 53 front end including the grille on a 54. There is a difference in the fenders in the grille area. Hope this helps.

The wiper motor should work fine.

CAN THE FRONT END BE BOLTED ON TO A 54 FROM A 51, AND IS THE HOOD INTERCHANGEABLE. IF SO I THINK I'LL KEEP MY 51 FRONT END, AND SELL THE CAB AND BED SIDES.I'LL HAVE TO TAKE SOME PICTURES OF IT AND POST IT IN THE PARTS SECTION NEXT WEEK.
