stupid wheel fit question
i'm not up on wheels, but i've seen many times the new wheels used do not have towers for the disc brake spindles. are they using different spindles, or are the wheels designed to mount deep enought that they don't show?
if so, is this backspacing? what spacing is required to give a smooth appearance to the factory spindles? i'd like to put new wheels on like this, but not if i have to change all of my suspension components. thanks |
Re: stupid wheel fit question
Hi cstanley, can you tell us what exact later model wheels you are talking about? And what is a "tower"? maybe a pic will help

Same question: What's a "tower"?

Re: stupid wheel fit question
sorry. i guess i should say "spindles." i just mean the bearing protrusion found on front discs. the "tower" would be part of my current rallye wheels. the part you would mount spinners on.
