tire sizes
naive question here-looking at replacing tires but don't have money for new rims right now-what would be the tallest, widest tire i can fit on a stock 15 inch ralley rim?stock tires now are 235/75/15-truck has factory stance and i want something to fill wheel well without looking too bulky-it's a bit of a work truck,so i need something all terrain with a smooth ride for the highway-any suggestions?

Re: tire sizes
I would say metric size maybe 255-60 or 70 for decent ware. But it you want pretty wide just for looks not to good on wear 275 and wider.
Standard sizes you can go 31x10.50 or maybe 32x11.50 /12.50 depending on your front springs for them to clear when turning lock to lock. |
Re: tire sizes
I just put on a set of 255/70's and they look pretty good. I plan on going to a very mild drop sometime soon and I think they'll be perfect then.

Re: tire sizes
Keep your tire width within 4 inches of your rim width or you'll get poor tread wear. Alot of people run 31 inch tall tires without a problem. In the rear you can run taller if you want that kind of look.
