I need a carter AFB carb number ran please

Howdy,

My friend just gave me an AFB off of his 83 ramcharger, since he toasted the engine, and I'm just wondering what the CFM's are, and what it came off of....the numbers are

304 9636S

Thanks!

625?

68 Stepside 04-14-2002 11:42 PM

I was just on jegs.com, and their 625 chrysler carb is a 9636, so that's what I assume it is...time to fatten it up a little, and drop it on the 406!

and not to be too picky but cant you flip throttle rod to inside of carb linkage hookup,it wouldnt have that angle then but i realize its not a Chevy carb so hook up is different im sure, that could cause problems.sorry not to pick-im just funny about some stuff.I like the inside my hood to look better than anyother part of my truck.Thats why i drive stuff that looks like crap but sweet under the hood, anytime a swap is done-motor gets cleaned painted along with pulleys, brackets, core support, firewall,i retape wire harness.paint up firewall and some attatching pieces.

68 Stepside 04-15-2002 02:59 PM

Hey rat, I just said the same thing to racedvl on msn, about the throttle linkage....I think I can flip it to the other side, and I need about 6 more inches of fuel line, and vaccum plugs. Chris, the license plate covers the biggest hole where the heater box used to go.... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif

Rat, you would die if you really saw under TJ's hood!! He told me it was running poor, so I brought some Bosch +4 plugs when I went down there, and ALL his plugs were loose!!!! LMAO!!!! Sorry TJ, that one just kills me!!! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/biggrin.gif
