What A-arms do I have?

Back when I bought my '64, the previous owner threw in a bed full of parts that he'd been collecting for future upgrades. I've got A-arms and spindles for a disk brake swap that are supposed to be 1972, but I know better than to take anybody's word on that sort of thing. I didn't think much of it until I started looking for rebuild parts the other day and noticed that '72 A-arms use different parts than '73 up. Is there any convenient way (casting numbers or something) that I could check what I have or am I better off trading to a junkyard for a known year?

With the exception of the steer bump stops, the 65-72 A-arms are pretty much the same. Ball joints will differ to go with the spindle year. Same with outer tie rod. Post pics and someone most likley will confirm.

It's dead easy to I.D. 71-72 arms from 73 and newer arms.

The 71-72 will have steel screw in control arm bushings just like your 64 has now. They will look like a giant bolt head.

The 73 and newer have rubber bushings with a washer and nut.

Very cool. I'll check them out later this afternoon.
Thanks!

Edit: Looks like I've got the '73+ A-arms! Makes me wonder about the rear end he gave me...
