can anyone tell me if this is the original column with a weird adapter or? It does not have a switch for hazard lights. Pics are below, any help greatly appreciated as I want to replace the steering wheel but need to know what adapter to get? It might be original? I don;t know.

Standard being stock right? I want to change the adapter because of its condition and it slighlty rubs against the column.

SIR

Thanks for your prompt response above. I think I will just pickup a 60-66 adapter today and see if it works. I just didn't want to buy one that didn't work and try to keep exchanging until i found the right one.

Befor replacement parts were offered, I put one of these on my old truck. I just allows bypass of internal mech. for turn signals and gives emergency flashers, but I see you have a signal stat on dash ( emergency flashers) so why not see whats wrong with column turn signals or just get a 70's to early 80's chevy van column to replace it there are articles posted on conversion and you would regain self cancelling feature.
