That is the Boondocker kit. Model King cleaned up the molds and retooled the top, but it is a reissue of the Boondocker...

What 9 year old is going to be interested in the model when his dad has 2 real life size ones to pick from ;)

Where do you find this model? I'm going to have to pick up one or two or three...

Re: FINALY, a new plastic model!

I've only found 1 site that has them, e-mailed them, havent heard back yet. Search AMT and the part number listed above together and you should be able to find the same site i have. Strange it was the only one i've found with it though... didnt look hard enough. I found an orig. model box still shrink wraped in plastic for $80 on a website, and it looks like 2 old ones on ebay.

Re: FINALY, a new plastic model!

Is it just me or AMT portraiting K5 owners as white trash!? The fine print says the trailer in the background is not included, but is offered in another kit!? I want one, but I'll shoot for one color, at least the model will look nice even if my driver doesn't. Wait, maybe I am white trash, cause my Blazer is multi colored, except I don't live in a camp trailer.
