Orange with White Roof?

Does anyone have a truck that is just orange with a white roof, no side trim or anything like that? I want to paint my 72 all orange with a white roof, and eliminate the white side stripe and both trims, but I've had a few people tell me it will look bad, or as my dad said "It'll look just like a power company truck". I think it will look alright, but a picture is worth 1000 words. Thanks!

Omaha Orange,Hugger Orange,or Red-Orange?My CheyenneSuper is Red-Orange/White 2-tone.It`s a rare optioned truck and I hate to do an incorrect resto on it.But,I like the mouldings better with solid paint, they stand out more. So,I want to do the same thing but keep the trim.I`ll do the top white and run my 9.75x16.5 OEMs that are powdercoated white with the factory caps. It`s a more traditional Deluxe-look from before trucks had all the moulding. My interior will be Saddle, changed from Parchment.I want the red-orange/Woodgrain(bedfloor,too)/Saddle int. to go together and a little white accent for the ext.The interior is a bolt-in and the white between the mouldings can br painted white to make it correct if I sell it,which I doubt.

Thanks for the pics so far guys! 1LoC10, that suburban is awesome! I wonder how the 56 chevy paint scheme would look on a pickup.

That nomad style burb kinda reminds me of a blazer that shows round here. They grafted late a 60's cadillac front end on it in escalade fashion. I dont like that kind of thing, but it is really well done. Wish i had some pics.

i know it's not orange..
but the most important trim is this paint divider in the rear of the cab

Thanks Everyone! There is definitely a lack of power company truck look-alikes in this mix  . As of now, I think I'm going to go for it. Its plain, simple, timeless and it looks good.

Before`69,that would be considered a deluxe truck.67/68 started the below beltline.Nothing wrong with tradition when it comes to trucks.
